Users and profiles

Users are grouped within an Organization and can have one of three roles: Owner, Responder, or Stakeholder.

Organizations

Users are grouped within an Organization. An Organization generally corresponds to a company, and can be further divided into Teams.

Roles

Within Astry, users can have one of the following 3 profiles:

  • Owner: the Owner can administer the Astry tool for the entire Organization. In particular, they can invite users to join their Organization on Astry, change their role, remove a user, enable or disable an integration, and enable or disable the Enterprise Plan subscription. In addition, they have the same rights as a Responder.
  • Responder: the Responder can open, acknowledge, and resolve incidents. They can also comment on an incident, track its progress, and be part of a team's on-call schedule. In addition, they have the same rights as a Stakeholder.
  • Stakeholder: the Stakeholder has read-only access to incidents, reporting, and invoices related to the Enterprise Plan subscription, if applicable.

An Organization can have several Owners (this is even recommended), and of course several Responders and Stakeholders.
